The 60 ampoule cryochamber is designed to hold up to 60 x 1.0ml screwtop (internal thread) ampoules (12 x 42 mm, ). Each ampoule is individually accessible.
The chamber is supplied with our large 3.8 litre CryoBath.
It is designed to replace 1°C/minute freezing in refrigerators as used by microbiology labs (freezing bacterial cultures), and is suitable for controlled-rate freezing for storage of tissues - plant and animal.
